What inspires you?

I went shopping yesterday, and found this:


Shoes inspire me. It's a little ridiculous, but silly heels with bows-on-the-toes make me want to go out with my camera and shoot.

And then there's words.

I'm an editor by day. I read constantly, and beautiful sentences make me want to come up with images to match them:

Ahhh.

And family. Family inspires me. Priceless expressions, moments that will never happen again...

Maybe I'm not speaking your language. Maybe shoes and words don't inspire you. So what does? Make a list, and go back to it over and over again. Remind yourself why you're doing what you're doing!

p.s. Marcia, if you're reading this... I'm wearing those heels for our shoot this weekend. And I'm way too excited :)
