Goings-on

So apparently, when your computer starts making a barely-audible, high-pitched overtone noise... that means your RAM is about to go kaput. And when your RAM is about to go kaput, your computer won't react too well to programs that eat up a lot of RAM... like editing software.

Hence, my editing is at a standstill until we got out and buy some of the expensive-looking stuff to the right. (Who knew RAM even looked like that?)

On another somewhat tech-related note: if you're in the market for a new lens, but haven't nailed down which one you want to try, head over to cameralensrentals.com. Their customer service is excellent, their shipping is quick, and they don't make you jump through all the hoops that a lot of other rental sites do. It's a great way to try out different lenses without blowing your budget to smithereens :)

And speaking of lenses... DPS just published an interesting post on the most popular lenses, as rated by their readers (check it out here).

Happy Thursday!
