weekend morning

Today was one of those perfect Saturdays, when you can throw the windows open, cook breakfast, and then go back to bed for a couple of hours.

Or, at least, that's what we used to do, before baby came along ;)

{I turned after taking that last picture, and here's what was staring up at me.}

Happy weekend!

Absolutely lovely! He is so adorable and looking up at you with such awe! There is nothing like the way a baby looks at mom!

(OK, the mom in me is making me say this. Forgive me, please. Would you consider fastening the seatbelt on the bouncy seat? It doesn't take much wiggling and a turned back for you to hear the thud of his bottom and then the thud of his head as he hits that hardwood floor. Even just a few inches is hard and will scare you both. Not trying to lecture. Just a mom to mom moment, if that's OK. If you'd rather I keep those to myself, let me know.)

Good luck with that Magnolia! I know they're common around Elmhurst and Glen Ellyn has a ton! Good for a few days then Poof! Mess everywhere. At least you can mow up.
The baby is devine! Looks like a Sievers. (In my biased opinion) :)

Sherah what a doll! :) he is so handsome, you both are so blessed.

Chick Hatchers-- instead of bringing your concerns up in front of everyone in the blog world, you maybe should have said something in private (if even at all). You made us all feel a little uncomfortable, and Sherah is a wonderful mother who knows best for her child. Just a suggestion.
